The Las Piñas General Hospital & Satellite Trauma Center (LPGH & STC), formerly called the Las Piñas Emergency Hospital was established in 1977 as an out-patient clinic located in front of the famous Las Piñas Bamboo Organ Church.
By virtue of Republic Act No. 9240 approved on February 10, 2004, the LPDH was converted into a medical center and was renamed as Las Piñas General Hospital and Satellite Trauma Center with an increase in bed capacity from 50 to 200.
