Municipality of Dumalneg is a 5th class municipality in the province of Ilocos Norte, Philippines.
Agriculture is the primary source of livelihood of the people, who plant such root crops as gabi, camote and tugue. Some derive meager incomes from planting maliket, an upland rice variety and from the gathering of forest products like firewood rattan and nito. A few of them are also engaged in fishing and in hunting wild animals like deer and pigs. Aside from the natural its native beauty of the place, the people’s tradition like chewing beetle nuts, including its native costumers such as Baog or G-string for men, and tapis for women. As well as its captivating dance called tadek are some of Dumalneg's tourist attractions.
